The RFID Integration Project was launched to modernise and enhance an existing Warehouse Management System by embedding a new RFID solution directly into its workflows. The core requirement was to streamline stock handling and improve accuracy by replacing or complementing manual scanning processes with automated RFID tracking. The project involved integrating RFID readers, tags, and middleware with the WMS, enabling real-time visibility of inventory as items move through the warehouse. This solution provides instant identification of goods at key checkpoints, reduces human error, and improves both inbound and outbound processing times. In addition to stock accuracy, the integration supports advanced reporting, audit trails, and automated alerts to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
